Next Roundtable January 30th
You're invited to an informal discussion with school board members.  We call them Roundtables.  Introduced last school year, roundtables offer community members an opportunity to share opinions and ask questions in a more relaxed and casual setting than a school board meeting.

Join us at the Valley View Elementary School Library (W180 N8130 Town Hall Road) from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30th.  Can't make this Roundtable?  There will be two more before the end of the school year.  We hope to see you there.

Andy Stoiber Joins the Board for 2011-12
Senior, Andy Stoiber, has been named the Student School Board member for the 2011-12 School year. The youngest of four children of Greg and Karen Stoiber, Andy has been a student in the Menomonee Falls School District since kindergarten.

Andy is very involved at Menomonee Falls High School as a senior class officer, the vice president of student council, president of the National Honor society, a leader in the LINK program, an officer in the Spanish Honor’s Society, a member of FBLA, band, the theater program and the varsity tennis team. Andy is also an employee at Marcus theaters.

With a gift and passion for performing, Andy wonders if there is a path to follow to become a member of Saturday Night Live or something similar in the entertainment industry. He is applying at a number of universities, but is very interested in Northwestern, NYU or UCLA. He would like to double major in Theater-com arts and International affairs-business.

Andy is an active member of the community and will bring the student perspective to our decisions. We welcome him aboard and look forward to his input in our future discussions.

New Superintendent - Dr. Pat Greco
Dr. Patricia Greco officially took the reins of the Menomonee Falls School District on July 1st.

Dr. Greco brings a wealth of talent and experience to her new position.  She is well acquainted with the Wisconsin education system and is considered one of the top superintendents in the state.  She has demonstrated leadership and improved academic achievement under extremely tight budgets as the superintendent of the West Bend School District for the last six years.  In fact, for four of those six years West Bend High Schools made Newsweek's list of the best high schools in the country.  Dr. Greco is a member of ERDI, the prestigious national Education Research and Development Institute made up of hand-selected leading educational superintendents from across the country.  Dr. Greco is also well acquainted with Menomonee Falls, once serving as assistant principal at North and principal at Benjamin Franklin Elementary.

The school board is happy to welcome Dr. Greco back to Menomonee Falls to serve as superintendent.
